North Star NORSTEEL GLR gaskets are manufactured from eco-friendly natural cellulosic fibers with suitable elastomers with a polytetrafluoroethylene cover & an SS 304 backupring. A combination of all three materials makes the gasket mechanically strong, chemically resistant, & highly compressible to compensate for unevenness of the sealing surface.
